Restrictions of Use

As with any new fitness or exercise program, you’ll want to consult with your physician before using The Backloop.

People suffering or diagnosed with spinal ailments should consult their healthcare provider before utilizing The Back Loop to ensure the appropriateness of traction/spinal decompression.

People with certain conditions are not candidates for spinal decompression therapy.  Some of the more common conditions with contra-indications to traction include:

  • Tumors
  • Abdominal Aortic Aneurism
  • Fractures
  • Pregnancy
  • Certain conditions (diseases) that compromise the structural integrity of the spine and discs. Such conditions as spinal fusions, moderate to severe osteoporosis.
  • Weight exceeding 350 pounds
